About Psalm Isadora

Psalm Isadora grew up on a born-again hippie commune in Northern California. From a young age, she had ecstatic experiences with the Spirit that did not fit in the dogma of the religion she was raised with. The mis-use of power in organised religion and personal abuse led her to leave the church and go on a search for personal truth with God. This search led her to study and teach yoga in America. As her thirst for knowledge grew, she travelled to India to study Tantra, where she experienced the balance of femine divine energy that she found missing in her religious upbringing. She continued to travel in search of traditional teachers of mystical practices, living with a sufi teacher in Istanbul. The further she travelled, she realized that she needed to heal herself. When she returned to America she sought out ancestral healing in the Lakota sweatlodge. She found the bridge to the mystical lies through accepting the human experience, having her heart broken open for compassion and forgiveness.

She was initiated and asked to teach Tantra by her guru, Sri Amritananda. Her classes and talks blend yogic philosophy, tantric goddess worship, sufi and christiam mysticism. Through her own path of healing, she seeks to share with others by generating compassion, empowerment and acceptance of this life as liberation. Psalm continues to learn by travelling and leading groups on pilgrimages to sacred sites and communities around the world. Commited to service as a path to spiritual awakening, she has started a non-profit to open a school for women living in rural villages in India to become yoga teachers in their communities.

Opening the Gate, Tantra & Women's Sexuality

Women only

Shaktism: The path of the Sacred Mother, Kali and the Magdelene

The philosophy, path and practices of awakening Shakti, the divine feminine energy for empowerment, healing and pleasure. This energy is often repressed for fear of it's power, and this imbalance creates suffering personally, culturally and ecologically. The practices of the divine feminine are found in all mystical traditions and all cultures throughout history. It is time to re-awaken the cosmic Mother energy inside ourselves, to be the vessels and create balance and harmony in our world, in our relationships and for the health of our bodies and the earth.

Mystical Sex & Oneness

Men and women

In mystical union, through the experience of pleasure, we experience samadhi, a state of liberation and oneness with the Creator. Sex does not keep us from God, it is a mystical experience bringing us closer to God. The shame and fear assosciated with sex create a disconnection from Creation and limits human evolution. This relationship can be developed with a partner or in mystical inner marriage with ourselves.

Red & White Partner Tantra - Play of the Gods

Men and women

Experience God / Goddess not as an idea, but as a living energy living through us. This is a powerful initiation into a practice over 5,000 years old, passed down from the sages in the Himalyas, and alive in our own breath. Partner tantra breathing meditations uses the science of breath and yin/yang channels to balance the sacred masculine & feminine polarities. This simple meditation has a profound effect on waking and harmonizing the energy of mystical inner union. The partnered breathing pattern awakens the astral body through the physical body, reclaiming our bodies as the spiritual experience. Great emphasis is placed on the participants feeling comfortable and building a safe container for this healing empowerment.

"We are that which we seek"
